Open year-round, 365 days a year. Park hours are 8 a.m. until sundown. Campers arriving after sunset should call the park for gate combination and instructions. Reservations accepted up to 11 months in advance.

About
Henderson Beach State Park Campground sits directly on Highway 98 in Destin, offering one of the finest Gulf Coast camping experiences in the Florida Panhandle. The 60 campsites are arranged in four loops, each with centrally located bathhouses featuring climate-controlled restrooms, hot showers, and laundry facilities. Every site comes equipped with full hookups including water, 30 and 50-amp electric service, and sewer connections, plus picnic tables, ground grills, and clothesline posts. The campground provides approximately 20 pull-through sites suitable for larger rigs, with the remainder being back-in sites. ADA-accessible sites with concrete drives and coverings are available at sites 2, 4, 15, and 45. Beach wheelchairs can be borrowed from the park. WiFi is available throughout the campground, working most reliably near the bathhouses. A camp store and firewood sales at the entry station round out the amenities. Boardwalks connect the campground to the beach, where campers can enjoy over 6,000 feet of shoreline featuring emerald-green waters and towering sand dunes covered in sea oats. Pets are welcome in the campground and on trails with a 6-foot leash, though they are not permitted on the beach, boardwalks, playground, or in buildings.

Located at 17000 Emerald Coast Parkway (Highway 98) in Destin, Florida. The park entrance is directly on Highway 98 between Destin and Miramar Beach on the Gulf Coast.
