Hazard Mill Campground was once a camping area in the George Washington National Forest, situated in Warren County, Virginia. The campground has been permanently closed by the U.S. Forest Service and no longer operates as a public camping facility. The site previously offered primitive camping without developed amenities. No water, restrooms, or other facilities were available at this location. The area is no longer maintained or managed as a campground by the Forest Service.
Directions
From McCall, Idaho, travel five miles west on Highway 55. Turn right on Goose Lake Road/Forest Road #257. Follow the paved road past Brundage Mountain Resort, where the road turns to gravel. Continue approximately 18 miles to the campground.
