About

Harrisville State Park is a 107-acre gem on the sunrise side of Michigan, positioned along the sandy shores of Lake Huron. The campground sits in a beautiful grove of cedars, pines, and maples, with most sites offering views of the lake. The modern campground provides 195 electric sites with options for 20-amp, 30-amp, or 50-amp service, along with a sanitation station and dishwashing station. Paved campground roads make navigation easy for RVs. Amenities include a modern bathhouse with flush toilets and hot showers, fire rings at each site, and potable water spigots throughout. A pet-friendly beach in the northeast corner of the campground welcomes four-legged companions. The park also offers two mini cabins that sleep four, each equipped with electricity, an electric heater, mini-fridge, coffee maker, microwave, fire circle, and outdoor grill. The ADA-accessible Sunrise cabin accommodates six. Beyond camping, visitors enjoy a designated swim beach, children's playground, volleyball and basketball courts, horseshoe pits, and a softball diamond. The 2-mile paved Heritage Trail connects to downtown Harrisville. Nearby attractions include Sturgeon Point Lighthouse and Negwegon State Park.
