About

Harrisville State Park Campground sits along the sandy shores of Lake Huron at one of Michigan's oldest state parks, established in 1921. The modern campground features 195 campsites shaded by cedars, pines, and maples, with most sites offering views of the lake. The facility includes paved campground roads, electric hookups with 20-, 30-, and 50-amp service options, pull-through sites, modern restrooms with showers, a sanitation station, and dishwashing stations. A pet-friendly beach area is located in the northeast corner of the campground. The park offers convenient access to Lake Huron's mile-long sandy beach with a designated buoyed swim area, a 2-mile paved Heritage Trail connecting to the town of Harrisville, and a carry-in boat launch for paddlers. Amenities include a picnic shelter with electricity, playground, and track chair available for visitors with mobility needs. The campground also features two mini cabins and one rustic cabin available for rental, with mini cabins accessible year-round.
