About

Hacienda Campground is a developed Forest Service campground located along the North Fork Tuolumne River near the confluence with Basin Creek. The shaded campground offers access to the river for fishing and recreation, situated off Cottonwood Road about 4 miles east of Tuolumne City. This is a pack-in, pack-out facility with no garbage service provided. Campers must bring their own water, as potable water is not available on-site, though water can be treated or filtered from nearby river sources. Each site includes a picnic table and fire pit. Check-in is from 2pm to 9pm, and check-out is at 12 noon. Campfire permits are recommended but not required for stoves, grills, or campfires.
