About
Fraser Flat Campground offers a peaceful riverside camping experience in the Stanislaus National Forest. This intimate campground sits among the trees along the South Fork Stanislaus River, providing direct access to fishing opportunities via two accessible fishing piers. The small size makes it ideal for campers seeking solitude away from larger, busier campgrounds. The campground features vault toilets and picnic tables but does not have potable water, so campers must bring their own supply. An RV dump station is available on Highway 108, approximately 1/4 mile west of Pinecrest Lake Road. The campground is operated by Dodge Ridge Mountain Resort under a Forest Service special use permit. Nearby recreation opportunities include picnicking, river fishing, day hiking, and horseback riding in the surrounding national forest lands. The maximum stay is 14 days, with quiet hours enforced from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
Directions
3 miles north of Highway 108 at Spring Gap turnoff (Fraser Flat Road).
