Open

Fort Niagara State Park is a day-use park only with no overnight camping. The park operates seasonally through late October. Five picnic pavilions are available for reservation. For overnight camping in the area, nearby Four Mile Creek State Park offers campsites.

About

Fort Niagara State Park sits at the strategic confluence of the Niagara River and Lake Ontario in Youngstown, New York, just north of Niagara Falls. The park is adjacent to Old Fort Niagara State Historic Site, a historic military fortification that operated under three flags from the 17th through 19th centuries. The park is strictly a day-use facility with no overnight camping. Recreational amenities include swimming and wading pools, a boat launch providing access to the Lower Niagara River and Lake Ontario, woodland hiking trails, 18 soccer fields, playgrounds, and picnic grounds. Five pavilions are available for group rental. For overnight camping in the Niagara region, visitors should consider nearby Four Mile Creek State Park, which offers 272 campsites including 172 with electric hookups.
