Beaver Island State Park encompasses 950 acres at the south end of Grand Island in the upper Niagara River, offering diverse year-round recreation. The park features a half-mile sandy beach for swimming, an adjacent 80-slip marina with seasonal and transient boat slips, fishing access, a car-top boat launch, and multiple canoe and kayak launches. Land-based activities include bike and nature trails, an 18-hole championship disc golf course, an 18-hole championship golf course operated by Montana International, playgrounds, picnic areas, athletic fields, and horseshoe pits. The Beaver Island Nature Center operates seasonally from July 4 through Labor Day. The park also contains the historic River Lea house and museum, built by William Cleveland Allen, cousin to President Grover Cleveland. Montana International operates the marina, golf course, event spaces, and concessions including Bogey's bar, The Hub store, and The Sand Stand snack bar at the beach. Winter visitors enjoy snowmobiling by permit, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, sledding, and ice fishing. Waterfowl hunting is permitted in-season by permit. The park is open daily from dawn to dusk year-round for day use. Nine pavilions are available for rental and can accommodate 50 to 150 people. This is a day-use facility with no overnight camping.

Beaver Island State Park is located at 103 Commission House Road, Grand Island, NY 14072. Accessible via I-190, take exit 18A to Beaver Island Parkway, leading directly to the park entrance.
