Fields Spring State Park Campground is a remote mountain retreat located in the Blue Mountains of southeast Washington, approximately four miles south of Anatone. The 792-acre forested park sits at elevations reaching 4,500 feet on Puffer Butte, offering spectacular views across three states and the Grand Ronde Canyon. The campground features 20 reservable campsites, each equipped with a picnic table and fire pit. Modern restroom facilities with hot showers serve campers year-round. The park also offers two tepees, a cabin, and lodge accommodations for those seeking roofed options. A dump station is available on-site for RV campers. Recreational opportunities abound throughout the seasons. Summer brings excellent hiking, mountain biking, and backpacking on forest trails through diverse Blue Mountain ecosystems with seasonal wildflowers and abundant wildlife. Winter transforms the park into a snow play destination with tubing runs, cross-country skiing, and snowshoeing. Three warming huts provide shelter during cold weather activities. The park's remote location in the far southeast corner of Washington offers a quiet camping experience away from crowds, though visitors should plan for winding mountain roads to reach this secluded destination.

From Clarkston, take SR 129 south for 30 miles. The park is four miles south of Anatone; turn left into the main park entrance.
