About

Beaver Lake Trailhead, formerly known as Beaver Lake Campground, is located in the Tonasket Ranger District of Colville National Forest. This site has been officially converted from a campground to a day-use area and trailhead, with camping no longer permitted. The area sits along Beaver Lake, one of three connected lakes including Beth Lake and Little Beaver Lake, northeast of Lake Bonaparte. The site provides good shoreline access to Beaver Lake, where anglers can expect to catch rainbow trout in the 10-13 inch range. Both motorized and non-motorized boating are allowed. The trailhead provides access to the Beth Lake Trail #316, which connects to nearby Beth Lake Campground. A boat launch at the southern end accesses Beaver Lake. The area is typically accessible from late April through August, though winter snow can limit road access. No facilities are available at this day-use site, including no drinking water or restrooms. Visitors should come prepared with their own supplies. The location offers scenic views and fishing opportunities but is no longer suitable for overnight camping.
