About
Eureka Valley Campground is a scenic riverside campground in Stanislaus National Forest, located 26 miles east of Pinecrest on Highway 108. The campground offers 28 sites along the banks of the Stanislaus River, including two double sites and four walk-in tent sites. Sites feature picnic tables and are connected by dirt-surfaced roads with dirt parking pads. The campground is operated by Dodge Ridge Mountain Resort under a Forest Service special use permit. Amenities include vault toilets and potable water available from three hand-pump wells. A trail near the host site leads directly to the river for fishing and swimming access. An RV dump station is located approximately 1/4 mile west on Highway 108 for a $10 fee, and free water filling is available at the old Brightman Fire Station. Quiet hours are enforced from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m., and the maximum stay is 14 days. Horses and pack animals are not permitted. Reservations are available through Dodge Ridge Mountain Resort. Interagency Senior and Access Pass holders receive a 50% discount on camping fees. Campfire permits are free and recommended via preventwildfiresca.org.
