About

Clark Fork Campground is situated along the banks of the Clark Fork of the Stanislaus River, five miles from the junction of Clark Fork Road and Highway 108. The campground features two distinct loops with a total of 88 sites. A-Loop contains 28 sites, including three double sites, with vault toilets and water available at hydrants serving several sites. This loop is the first to open and last to close during the camping season. B-Loop offers 60 sites, including six double sites, and features flush toilets. Three sites near the first restroom are fully accessible. Both loops have paved roads and parking pads, with a maximum RV/trailer length of 32 feet. Each site includes a picnic table and campfire ring. The campground provides convenient access to fishing in the Clark Fork of the Stanislaus River and serves as a gateway to the Carson-Iceberg Wilderness, with numerous trailheads nearby including Iceberg Meadow, Arnot Creek, Disaster Creek, County Line, and Wheats Meadow. An RV dump station is available near the entrance. The campground is operated by Dodge Ridge Mountain Resort under a special use permit from the Forest Service.
