About

Edness K. Wilkins State Park spans 362 acres along the North Platte River, located six miles east of Casper in Natrona County. This is primarily a day-use park with no traditional tent or RV campground. Overnight accommodations are limited to 7 reservable Camp Shacks, which are rustic glamping-style cabins with no electricity, heat, air conditioning, internet, bedding, or pillows. The park offers extensive day-use amenities including three miles of paved multi-use trails, a swimming pond with sandy beach, fishing access on the North Platte River, and opportunities for boating, horseback riding, and wildlife viewing. Over 200 bird species have been documented here. Four picnic shelters are available for day-use rental. The park is open year-round with seasonal hours: 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. from April through September, and 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. from October through March. Day-use fees are $7 for Wyoming residents and $14 for non-residents.

Located at 8700 East Highway 20/26 in Evansville, Wyoming, approximately six miles east of Casper. Follow US Highway 20/26 east from Casper.
