About
East Fork Baker Creek Campground is a rustic, no-fee campground located along the East Fork of Baker Creek within the Sawtooth National Forest near Ketchum, Idaho. The campground features 7 primitive campsites, each equipped with a fire ring and picnic table, offering a quiet backcountry camping experience in the central Idaho mountains. This first-come, first-served campground operates seasonally from June through November, with access limited by snow during winter months. Amenities are minimal: a vault toilet is provided, but there is no potable water, so campers must bring their own supply. The campground does not accept reservations and has no fees. The surrounding area offers excellent recreation opportunities including fishing in Baker Creek, hiking, backpacking, and mountain biking on nearby trails. The scenic drive along Forest Road 162 provides access to additional backcountry exploration in the Sawtooth National Forest.
