Forest Order No. 05-01-25-13, Camping Equipment Prohibition

Deer Flat Group Campground is situated in the Angeles National Forest within the San Gabriel Mountains National Monument at approximately 2,800 feet elevation. This facility is designed for group camping and offers accommodations for horseback riding and horse camping, making it popular with equestrian groups. The campground provides picnic facilities and access to trails in the surrounding forest. The campground typically operates on a reservation basis with group sites available for $50 per night.
