About

Pike Lake State Park offers a variety of cabin accommodations in one of Ohio's most scenic natural settings. The park features five Basic Cabins that sleep four people (summer only, no linens), ten Preferred Cabins that sleep six with heat, AC, linens, two bedrooms, and screened porches (year-round), and a Group Lodge sleeping sixteen with two bathrooms and screened porch. All cabins include full kitchens with dishes and utensils, plus private bathrooms with showers. The park's 13-acre lake was hand-dug by the Ohio Civilian Conservation Corps during the 1930s and serves as the centerpiece for recreation. A 155-foot sand swimming beach offers changing areas, while fishing yields largemouth bass, catfish, and bluegill. Electric motors only are permitted on the lake, with rowboats, kayaks, and canoes available for rental. Six miles of hiking trails wind through the wooded Appalachian plateau terrain. Additional facilities include a seasonal camp store, dump station, nature center with seasonal programs, an 18-hole disc golf course, and multiple picnic areas with grills and tables. Two day use shelters accommodate groups up to 80 people and are available by reservation.
