A combination of well-above average temperatures, low relative humidity, breezy winds, and worsening drought conditions will result in elevated fire weather conditions for this afternoon. Winds will be out of the southwest this afternoon, gusting up to 20 to 25 mph, and relative humidity values will drop to around 25 to 35 percent across the area. Conditions will improve after sunset as winds slowly decrease and relative humidity values increase.
About
Dale Hollow Lake State Resort Park campground is situated in south central Kentucky on a 3,398-acre property near the Tennessee border in Clinton County. The campground features 144 campsites, including 121 standard electric sites, 24 equestrian sites with horse corrals, and 6 camping cabins. The campground operates seasonally from mid-March through mid-November and provides modern amenities including central bathhouses with flush toilets and showers, a dump station, laundry facilities, and a convenience store. An on-site swimming pool is open Memorial Day through Labor Day. The resort park also offers an 18-hole championship golf course, lodge, dining room, and boat rentals at the marina. Hiking trails wind through the property, with the Eagle Point Trail offering views over the lake into Tennessee. Reservations are available through ReserveAmerica up to 12 months in advance, with a one-day advance booking requirement. Sites accommodate up to 8 occupants and 2 units per site. Golf carts are permitted with a $25 weekly or $100 annual permit. Note that water resources may be unavailable during freezing temperatures in winter months.
