About

Corral Canyon Campground provides a quiet base camp for off-highway vehicle enthusiasts exploring the Corral Canyon OHV Area in the Descanso Ranger District of Cleveland National Forest. The campground sits at approximately 3,400 feet elevation, tucked into an oak grove with manzanita providing additional shade. From the sites, campers enjoy sweeping views of chaparral-covered hills and desert terrain stretching for miles. The campground offers 19 standard nonelectric sites, including some double sites suitable for groups. Each site features a picnic table and fire ring. Two vault toilets serve the campground, and trash receptacles are provided. There is no potable water available at the campground or anywhere in the surrounding Corral Canyon and Bear Valley area; campers must bring all water they need. Trails depart directly from the campground, connecting to the greater OHV network. Green-stickered OHVs may ride year-round, while red-stickered vehicles are permitted October 1 through April 30. USFS-approved spark arresters are required on all motorized equipment year-round. The campground accommodates vehicles and trailers up to 27 feet in length.
