Copper Creek Dispersed #7 is a primitive dispersed camping location within the Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest, situated in the Pintler Ranger District near Copper Creek in Granite County. As a dispersed camping area, this site offers backcountry camping opportunities for self-reliant campers seeking a more remote and primitive experience away from developed campgrounds. The Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest covers over 3.3 million acres across southwest Montana and provides extensive opportunities for dispersed camping throughout the forest. Dispersed camping allows visitors to camp outside of designated campgrounds, typically in undeveloped areas where no facilities or services are provided. Campers must be prepared to pack in all supplies and pack out all trash. This area is subject to forest-wide regulations including food storage orders to prevent bear encounters. Winter access may be limited or restricted depending on snow conditions and road maintenance. The forest's dispersed camping areas are generally accessible year-round where roads remain passable, though winter camping requires preparation for harsh mountain conditions.

From Philipsburg, travel south on Highway 1 for 6.4 miles, then west on Highway 38 for 9 miles. Turn south on Forest Service Road 5106 and continue 9.9 miles to the campground.
