Locations include, but are not limited to Craig, Steamboat Springs, Walden, Granby, Hot Sulphur Springs, Kremmling, Meeker, Rangely, Glenwood Springs, Eagle, Vail, Breckenridge, Central City, Georgetown, Grand Junction, Aspen, Leadville, Fairplay, Delta, Gunnison, Buena Vista, Salida, Montrose, Nucla, Ouray, Telluride, Dove Creek, and Saguache. About

Columbine Campground is a small, rustic campground with 6 designated sites located at Columbine Pass on the Uncompahgre Plateau in western Colorado. Managed by the Ouray Ranger District of the Grand Mesa, Uncompahgre and Gunnison National Forests, the campground sits approximately 37 miles from Montrose and 21 miles from Nucla. Each site features a picnic table and fire ring/grill, with vault toilets available in the campground. There is no potable water, so campers must bring an adequate supply. Trash service is not provided; visitors are expected to pack out everything they bring in. The campground operates on a first-come, first-served basis with no advance reservations. The Uncompahgre Plateau is a popular destination for OHV/ATV riding, mountain biking, horseback riding, and hiking. The area provides access to extensive trail systems and scenic high-country terrain. Quiet hours are enforced from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
