The campground is currently closed for the season. Regular season runs late May through early September with reservations via Recreation.gov. After the regular season ends, the campground remains open first-come, first-served with no fee, no toilets, and no water.

About

Cloverleaf Campground is situated on St. Charles Creek in a scenic canyon within the Caribou-Targhee National Forest in southeast Idaho. Pines and aspens provide partial shade throughout the campground, while summer wildflowers dot the landscape. The creek flows gently past the sites, offering fishing opportunities for cutthroat trout. The campground features 18 single-family sites and one group site that can accommodate up to 100 people. Each site includes a picnic table and campfire ring. Vault toilets and potable water are available during the regular season. Roads to and within the campground are paved. Nearby, the North Fork Trail provides access to the Highline Trail, a 55-mile National Trail System route along the Wasatch Mountains open to hikers, mountain bikers, horseback riders, and motorcyclists. Minnetonka Cave, one of only two developed caves in the Forest Service system, offers guided tours from early June through Labor Day just a few miles away.
