The campground is open year-round. Full hookups are available seasonally from mid-April through mid-October; winter camping is limited to C-Loop with electric-only service. Tree removal operations are ongoing with multiple closures in place within the park. Check-in is 1 p.m. and check-out is noon.

Continued hot and sunny weather conditions may allow ozone concentrations to reach the Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups category on Tuesday and Wednesday. The transport of wildfire smoke may increase particle pollution levels, reaching the Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups category, or worse, at times. About

Chatfield State Park campground sits on the shores of Chatfield Reservoir in Jefferson County, offering easy access to Denver while providing a full-featured camping experience. The 197-site campground is divided into four loops, with all sites equipped with electric hookups ranging from 20 to 50 amps. Full hookups including water and sewer are available at 146 sites during the peak season from mid-April through mid-October. Amenities include flush toilets, coin-operated showers, laundry facilities, and a centrally located dump station that remains open year-round. Every campsite comes with a picnic table, fire ring, and grill. The park features 12 ADA-accessible campsites spread across the individual and group camping areas, with accessible shower attachments available upon request. The reservoir offers fishing, boating, swimming, and over 26 miles of trails for hiking and biking. Winter camping is available on C-Loop (sites 103-153) with electric-only service. Reservations can be made up to six months in advance through cpwshop.com or by calling 1-800-244-5613.

Instead use "9700 S Wadsworth Blvd, Littleton, 80128" for Deer Creek Entrance (13-foot height max) or "11500 N Roxborough Park Rd, Littleton 80125" for Plum Creek Entrance (accommodates taller RVs).
