About
Charlestown Breachway State Campground sits on the east side of the Breachway with panoramic views of Block Island Sound and walking distance to Charlestown Breachway State Beach. This 75-site facility accommodates only self-contained RVs with manufacturer-installed permanent holding tanks for potable water, grey water, and black water due to the environmentally sensitive location. The campground offers no utilities, hookups, dump station, or water filling station. Sites accommodate various RV lengths with back-in driveways ranging from 30 to 40 feet. The location provides excellent saltwater fishing opportunities and access to both Ninigret Pond and Block Island Sound via a nearby boat launch. The campground operates seasonally with reservations available through Rhode Island State Parks. A construction project on the breachway is expected to be complete by April 2026.

From Providence take Interstate Route 95 South to Route 4 South to Route 1 South to Charlestown Breachway exit and follow signs to Charlestown Breachway.
