LeGrand Reynolds Horsemen's Camping Area is a specialized equestrian campground located within Rhode Island's expansive Arcadia Management Area. This 52-acre facility is exclusively reserved for campers accompanied by horses, providing a unique opportunity for equestrian enthusiasts to camp alongside their animals while exploring over 100 miles of horse-friendly trails. The campground offers 44 primitive tent-only campsites, each accommodating up to 6 people. Amenities include community fire rings, picnic tables, a turnout ring for exercising horses, a covered pergola, and manure bins for waste disposal. Portable toilets are available spring through fall. The camping experience is rustic and designed to integrate seamlessly with the surrounding natural environment. Located just minutes from Route 95 and the Connecticut border in Exeter, the campground provides easy access while maintaining a secluded wilderness feel. The Arcadia Management Area surrounding the campground offers diverse terrain for trail riding, hiking, and wildlife viewing. Campers must bring their own water and are limited to a maximum stay of 4 consecutive days.

From Route 95 South: Take exit 14A to merge onto RI-102 South. Turn right onto Route 165 East to Escoheag Hill Road. The campground is on the left side of Escoheag Hill Road.
