Open for the 2026 camping season through December 31, 2026. Reservations required at least one day in advance and can be made up to 12 months ahead. Maximum stay is four consecutive days. Overnight camping is restricted to campers accompanied by horses.

LeGrand Reynolds Horsemen's Camping Area is an exclusive equestrian camping facility nestled within the 14,000-acre Arcadia Management Area in Exeter, Rhode Island. This 52-acre campground caters specifically to horseback riders, with overnight camping permitted only for those accompanied by horses. The facility offers 44 primitive tent-only campsites, each accommodating up to six people, providing a rustic camping experience for equestrian enthusiasts. The campground features essential horse-related amenities including a turnout ring for exercising horses, a covered pergola, and manure bins for waste disposal. Campers have access to community fire rings, picnic tables, and seasonal portable toilets available from spring through fall. The location provides direct access to over 100 miles of horse-friendly trails winding through the diverse terrain of the Arcadia Management Area. Situated just minutes from Interstate 95 near the Connecticut border, LeGrand Reynolds offers convenient access while maintaining a secluded wilderness atmosphere. Maximum stays are limited to four consecutive days, and reservations must be made at least one day in advance through the Rhode Island State Parks reservation system.
