About
Bumblebee Campground is nestled in a large meadow next to Bumblebee Creek near the Little North Fork Coeur d'Alene River at an elevation of 2,200 feet in the Idaho Panhandle National Forests. The campground consists of two loops offering single-family campsites and a group site that can accommodate up to 100 people. Paved roads and sealed gravel parking spurs provide easy access throughout the facility. The creekside location creates excellent opportunities for floating, swimming, and wading. Trout fishing is available about a half-mile from the campground in the Little North Fork of Coeur d'Alene River, where rainbow and cutthroat trout are the most common catches. The campground also serves as a base camp for seasonal hunting activities. About 15 miles from the campground, the 803 Motorized Trail System provides dedicated off-road trails and open roads in the Steamboat Creek area. The nearby town of Coeur d'Alene offers additional attractions including paddle boating, parasailing on Lake Coeur d'Alene, and various shops and restaurants.
