About
Bullards Beach State Park is a large, family-oriented campground situated on Oregon's southern coast at the mouth of the Coquille River, just two miles north of Bandon. The campground is nestled among shore pines that provide natural protection from strong coastal winds. The park features three distinct camping loops with over 185 sites including 103 full-hookup sites with sewer, electricity, and water, plus 82 additional sites with electrical and water hookups. In addition to traditional campsites, the park offers 13 reservable yurts with six being pet-friendly, an eight-site primitive equestrian camp, and a hiker/biker camp equipped with storage lockers and solar-powered USB charging ports for Oregon Coast Trail travelers. All standard campsites feature paved parking pads, picnic tables, and fire rings. The campground includes modern amenities such as flush restrooms, hot showers, and a dump station. Recreational opportunities abound with 4.5 miles of beach perfect for beachcombing, rockhounding, and hard-packed sand biking. The historic Coquille River Lighthouse is accessible via park trails, and a boat ramp provides access to river fishing. The park features multiple trails including beach access, the Tsunami Trail, and Pearl's Trail. An amphitheater hosts interpretive programs during peak season. Six campsites and three yurts are ADA accessible, and the campground accommodates big rigs with sites up to 64 feet.
