Brandywine Campground sits on the shores of 10-acre Brandywine Lake within the George Washington National Forest in Pendleton County, West Virginia. This 35-site wooded campground operates entirely on a first-come, first-served basis with an onsite host present during the season. Each campsite includes a picnic table, fire ring, and lantern hook, accommodating one RV or two tents with no more than two vehicles and eight persons per site.
The recreation area provides access to multiple hiking and mountain biking trails, a swimming beach on Brandywine Lake, and fishing opportunities. A dump station is available for RVs, though the campground is not suitable for large rigs. During peak season when water systems are operational, flush toilets are available; pit toilets remain accessible year-round.
Located along U.S. Route 33, the campground is easily accessed from Harrisonburg, Virginia, approximately 26 miles east. Day use facilities are also available for $8 per vehicle. The America the Beautiful Pass series is accepted, with Senior and Access passes providing 50% discounts on camping fees.

From Harrisonburg, VA: Take U.S. Route 33 west for 26 miles into West Virginia. The recreation area is 4.2 miles west of the Virginia-West Virginia state line and about 2 miles east of Brandywine, WV.
