Impacts possible in some health systems and in heat-sensitive industries. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Widespread Moderate HeatRisk in the upper 90s with favored hotspots reaching the low 100s on Tuesday. Limited overnight recovery is expected with overnight lows only dropping into the low to mid 60s. Higher elevations may only see overnight lows drop into the upper 60s to mid 70s.

* WHAT...Up to 1.8 ft of inundation above ground level is possible in low-lying areas near shorelines and tidal waterways. * WHERE...Bayshore locations along the San Francisco and San Pablo Bays. * WHEN...Until 4 AM PDT Thursday. * IMPACTS...Flooding of lots, parks, and roads with only isolated road closures expected. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...At the San Francisco tidal gauge, high tide is expected to be 1.8 ft above normal (7.6 ft MLLW) at 11:55 PM 7/14, 1.5 ft above normal (7.3 ft MLLW) at 12:48 AM 7/16. These predictions include both astronomical tides and roughly 3-6 inches of additional water mainly from a combination of thermal expansion and accumulated sea level rise since the tidal datum was established (1983-2001). High tide varies up to 90 minutes earlier or later along the Pacific Coast and through the San Francisco Bay, respectively.

The Valley Group Campground at Bothe-Napa Valley State Park provides an ideal setting for group outings in Napa Valley wine country. The site accommodates up to 30 people with parking for 10 vehicles, making it suitable for scout troops, family reunions, or organized group camping trips. The campground sits within a diverse forest landscape featuring coastal redwoods alongside Douglas-fir, tanoak, and madrone trees. Amenities include fire rings for campfires (when not restricted due to fire conditions), picnic tables, potable water, and restrooms with coin-operated showers. The park features hiking trails ranging from easy to moderate difficulty, including paths through old-growth redwood groves. A seasonal swimming pool operates on summer weekends with lifeguard supervision. The park is located on Highway 29/128, roughly halfway between Calistoga and St. Helena. Reservations are made through ReserveCalifornia. Dogs are permitted in the campground but must be leashed and kept in a vehicle or tent at night.
