About

Bothe-Napa Valley State Park provides unique overnight accommodations in five restored historic cabins and ten yurts within a 1,900-acre preserve of coastal redwoods, Douglas fir, and oak woodlands. The park sits four miles north of St. Helena, offering easy access to Napa Valley wineries while providing a secluded forest retreat. The five cabins range from standard two-person units with kitchenettes to premium four-person cabins with full kitchens. All cabins include private bathrooms with showers, electricity, heaters, and furnished porches. Oak and Redwood cabins are ADA accessible. The ten yurts come in large (sleeps 6) and small (sleeps 4) sizes, each equipped with a queen bed and cots, outdoor fire pit, and picnic table. Yurts have no interior heat but provide access to nearby restrooms and pay showers. Select yurts are pet-friendly and ADA accessible. The park features over 10 miles of hiking and equestrian trails, a seasonal swimming pool, and connects to Bale Grist Mill State Historic Park via the History Trail. Wood fires may be banned during fire season; charcoal and propane alternatives are recommended.
