* WHAT...Snow. Snow accumulations of 10 to 18 inches above 7000 feet. At Lake Tahoe level, 3 to 6 inches, with 6 to 12 inches along and west of Highway 89. Wind gusts up to 35 mph, with gusts reaching 75 mph along the Sierra crest. Wave heights 1 to 3 feet on Lake Tahoe. * WHERE...Greater Lake Tahoe Area. * WHEN...From 10 PM Monday to 4 PM PST Wednesday. * IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the Tuesday morning and evening commutes, as well as the Wednesday morning commute. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches. Small boats, kayaks and paddle boards will be prone to capsizing and should remain off lake waters until conditions improve.

Hoke Valley- Forest Road 860-07 (17E11 Trail) Closed
Forest Road 860 -01 (17E11 Trail) in the Hoke Valley area has been closed to allow for Hoke Valley Meadow restoration.
About
Boca Spring Campground is nestled within a heavily forested stand of towering pine and fir trees approximately one mile east of Boca Reservoir, just 20 minutes from Truckee, California. The campground features 16 single-family sites and one group site accommodating up to 25 people and eight vehicles. Each site includes a picnic table, campfire ring with grill, and bear locker. A spring-fed meadow lies adjacent to the campground. Boca Reservoir, a mile west, offers boating, water skiing, swimming, and fishing opportunities with a boat ramp located at the southwest end near Boca Campground. The Little Truckee River provides excellent catch-and-release fly-fishing. The surrounding area features abundant trails for hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, and OHV use. The Boca Townsite Interpretive Trail showcases the history of the boom-and-bust town of Boca, from its origins as a Central Pacific Railroad construction camp to the Boca Mill and Ice Company and later the Boca Brewery. Nearby attractions include Stampede Reservoir 9 miles north, Donner Camp Interpretive Trail, and Lake Tahoe 35 minutes away. Truckee offers full amenities including restaurants, shopping, and historic sites. The campground operates seasonally from late May through mid-October and accepts reservations through Recreation.gov.
Directions
From Truckee, take I-80 east for approximately 6 miles to the Hirschdale exit. Turn left onto County Route 894 and travel north approximately 3 miles. When you reach Boca Rest Campground, turn right onto the dirt road (Forest Route 72). Travel approximately 0.75 miles staying to the left to arrive at Boca Spring Campground. From Reno, take I-80 west to the Hirschdale exit, go north approximately 3 miles, then turn right and go 1 mile to the campground.
