About
Blue Crossing Campground offers a peaceful, rustic camping experience in the beautiful Blue River Valley, well off the beaten path in Arizona's Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests. At 6,200 feet elevation, the riverside setting provides a scenic retreat with opportunities for fishing, wildlife viewing, and backcountry exploration. The campground has 4 sites total, with 2 featuring Adirondack-style shelters.
This primitive campground is ideal for those seeking solitude and access to true wilderness. The Tutt Creek Trailhead nearby provides access to the Blue Range Primitive Area, one of the most remote and wild areas in Arizona. Adjacent to the campground is a short interpretive path leading to a petroglyph site with informational panels. Note that no potable water or trash service is available; campers must bring their own water and pack out all trash.
