About
Blanchard Springs Campgrounds is situated in the scenic Ozark National Forest, known for rolling hills, hidden caverns, waterfalls, and clear flowing streams. The campground features 17 individual campsites and 2 group sites, all equipped with picnic tables, grills, and campfire rings. Individual sites are first-come, first-served and suitable for smaller RVs and tents. The area offers flush toilets and a dump station, but no electrical or other hookups.
The recreation area serves as an excellent base for exploring the Ozarks. Visitors can fish for trout at nearby Mirror Lake, swim in the crystal-clear waters of North Sylamore Creek, or hike along the 25-mile North Sylamore Trail that connects to the Ozark Highland Trail. Mountain bikers can explore 50 miles of the Syllamo Mountain Bike Trail. The campground is also adjacent to Blanchard Springs Caverns, offering tours and exhibits. Sites are well-shaded by yellow pine trees and located near picturesque rock bluffs.
The campground has a maximum stay limit of 5 days from Memorial Day through Labor Day and 14 days for the remainder of the year. Sites may be subject to closure during high water events on North Sylamore Creek.
