About

Blanchard Springs Campgrounds is nestled in the Ozark-St. Francis National Forests, part of the Blanchard Springs Recreation Area managed jointly by the USDA Forest Service and Arkansas Department of Parks, Heritage and Tourism. The campground features 17 individual sites and two group sites spread through forested terrain. Each site is equipped with a picnic table, grill, lantern pole, tent pad, and fire ring. Facilities include flush restrooms with hot showers, drinking water from a hand pump, and an RV dump station. The recreation area offers extensive opportunities for outdoor activities. Blanchard Springs Caverns features guided tours through spectacular underground formations. The North Sylamore Creek trail is accessible directly from the campground, and the creek itself provides a swimming hole with clear Ozark water. Mirror Lake offers accessible fishing for stocked rainbow trout. Sites are suitable for tents and smaller RVs but lack electrical hookups. Reservations are available through Recreation.gov, though individual sites often operate first-come, first-served. Note that sites may close during high water conditions on North Sylamore Creek.
