Alcohol Prohibitions
This Order describes acts that are prohibited upon lands, roads and trails within the National Forest System administered by the Forest Service Pacific Northwest Region in regards to alcoholic beverages.
Aquatic Invasive Species
This Order prohibits 1) possessing, storing, or transporting any aquatic invasive animal species AND 2) prohibits possessing, storing, or transporting any aquatic or riparian invasive plant species - on National Forest System lands in the Pacific Northwest Region as specified in the Order.
Restrictions on Use of Forage and Mulch Products

Bingham Springs Campground is a small, rustic facility tucked into the northwestern corner of Ochoco National Forest in central Oregon. The campground sits adjacent to a scenic meadow and small pond, offering a peaceful setting for those seeking solitude and wilderness access. Its location at the same developed site as Twin Pillars North Trailhead makes it an ideal basecamp for hikers exploring the Mill Creek Wilderness. This primitive campground provides basic amenities including vault toilets and picnic tables at each site, but campers must bring their own drinking water as none is available on-site. There are no fees to camp here, making it an attractive option for budget-conscious visitors. Access is via Forest Service Road 27, approximately 23 miles north of Prineville. The campground's proximity to Mill Creek Wilderness offers opportunities for hiking, wildlife viewing, and experiencing Oregon's high desert forest landscape. A 14-day stay limit applies, consistent with all Ochoco National Forest facilities.
Directions
From Prineville, Oregon: Travel north on Main Street for approximately 11 miles to the Ochoco National Forest boundary. Main Street turns into Forest Service Road 27 at the forest boundary. Continue on Forest Service Road 27 for another 12 miles. At the junction of Forest Service Road 27 and Forest Service Road 2745, veer right to stay on Forest Service Road 27. Continue for another 1/2 mile along the wilderness boundary. Bingham Springs Campground will be on your right in the same developed site as Twin Pillars North Trailhead.
