About
Billy Creek Campground offers rustic camping in a scenic wooded setting along Billy Creek in the Ouachita National Forest of southeastern Oklahoma. The small stream provides opportunity for sunfish fishing, and the surrounding forest creates a peaceful atmosphere for tent camping and small trailers. The campground serves as a trailhead for the Billy Creek Trail, which winds up the southern face of Winding Stair Mountain to connect with the Talimena Scenic Drive. This National Scenic Byway curves 54 miles along the crests of Winding Stair and Rich Mountains, offering stunning views. The Ouachita National Recreation Trail is also accessible from the campground via a loop trail with parking.
Directions
