Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Widespread showers and storms will continue to move across the watch area through at least late Sunday morning. These storms will be capable of rainfall rates between 1 to 2 inches per hour. Rainfall totals of 1 to 3 inches are likely in the hardest hit areas, with the potential for localized areas of 4 to 5 inches.

Maquoketa River near Maquoketa affecting Jackson County. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Maquoketa River near Maquoketa. * WHEN...From late tonight to Monday afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 26.0 feet, Significant agricultural flooding and increasing impacts on the city of Maquoketa. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:15 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 22.7 feet and rising rapidly. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late tonight to a crest of 25.7 feet tomorrow evening. It will then fall below flood stage late Monday morning. - Flood stage is 24.0 feet.

Bellevue State Park campground is located in the Dyas Unit, the only overnight camping area within this 770-acre park perched 250 feet above the Mississippi River. The campground offers 46 sites including electric (30/50-amp), full hookup, non-electric, and walk-to tent sites. Modern amenities include restrooms with showers, drinking water hydrants, and a sanitary dump station. Each campsite comes equipped with a fire ring and picnic table. The park is rich in archaeological and natural history, featuring three miles of trails with stunning overlooks of the Mississippi River valley and restored prairie. The Nelson Unit houses a nature center and the renowned Butterfly Garden, home to nearly 60 butterfly species from spring through fall. The paved Nelson Unit Trail provides accessible hiking to the garden area. All campsites require advance reservations through Iowa's online reservation system. Check-in is at 4:00 p.m. and check-out at 3:00 p.m. Weekend stays from May through October require a minimum two-night reservation, with three nights required on major holiday weekends.
