Bellevue State Park
Overview
Bellevue State Park in Wilmington, Delaware is a 331-acre former DuPont estate that is currently open daily from 8 a.m. until sunset. The park features the historic Bellevue Hall mansion, a 1⅛-mile fitness track (former horse track) with 20 exercise stations, an 18-hole disc golf course, fishing pond, hiking trails, tennis center, and equestrian facilities. The park is operating normally with an active events calendar including guided tours of historic structures, art exhibitions, walking tours, and nature programs. The park office is open 8am-4pm daily April-October, and Monday-Friday 8am-4pm November-March. Entrance fees apply: $5/day for DE-registered vehicles, $10/day for non-DE vehicles, free for walkers/bikers. The park offers multiple venues for weddings and events, pavilions, picnic areas, and recreational concessions. As a preserved urban oasis and historic estate, it provides year-round recreation opportunities with modern amenities including restrooms, playgrounds, and an arboretum. No current closures reported.
