WHERE...Douglas, Jefferson, Denver, western Arapahoe, western Adams, Broomfield, Boulder, Larimer, and Weld Counties WHEN...400 PM Wednesday July 01 to 400 PM Thursday July 02 IMPACTS...Action Day for Multiple Pollutants is now in effect for the Front Range Urban Corridor. Elevated levels of Multiple Pollutants will remain possible in the northern Front Range region through Thursday afternoon. Concentrations of both ozone and fine particulates may reach the Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups category at times on Wednesday and Thursday. For Colorado air quality conditions, forecasts, and advisories, visit: https://www.colorado.gov/airquality/colorado_summary.aspx If possible, please help us reduce ozone pollution by limiting driving gas and diesel-powered vehicles until at least 4 p.m. Thursday, July 2, 2026. Continued hot and sunny weather conditions may allow ozone concentrations to reach the Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups category on Tuesday and Wednesday. The transport of wildfire smoke may increase particle pollution levels, reaching the Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups category, or worse, at times. About

Bellaire Lake Campground is located 47 miles northwest of Fort Collins in the scenic Red Feather Lakes area of Roosevelt National Forest. The campground sits at 8,600 feet among rolling hills, pine forests, and unique rock formations near 10-acre Bellaire Lake. An accessible boardwalk connects the campground to the lake. The campground offers single, double, and triple family sites accommodating various group sizes. Single sites hold up to 8 people. Accessible sites and electric hookups are available at some locations. Each site includes a tent pad, picnic table, campfire ring with grill, and bear locker. Parking spurs range from 30 to 75 feet. Flush toilets are on-site. Fishing and canoeing are popular on the no-wake lake, which holds rainbow and brook trout. Nearby trails include the 1.25-mile Molly Lake Trail and 4-mile Mount Margaret Trail. The small village of Red Feather Lakes offers general stores and limited dining.

Directions

Drive 21 miles north of Fort Collins on US Highway 287. Turn left (west) onto Red Feather Lakes Road (County Road 74E). Drive 24 miles to County Road 162. Turn left (south) and travel roughly 2.5 miles to the campground entrance on the west side of the road.
