This order describes the prohibition of wheeled vehicles in all National Forest Wilderness Areas of the Rocky Mountain Region and any exceptions thereof.

About

North Fork Poudre Campground offers a quiet, rustic camping experience in Roosevelt National Forest's Canyon Lakes Ranger District. Located along Deadman Road west of Red Feather Lakes, the campground sits near the banks of the North Fork Cache la Poudre River surrounded by dense lodgepole pine forest. The nine sites provide a secluded feel with light usage levels typical throughout the season. Each campsite includes a picnic table, tent pad, and fire grate. Vault toilets are available, but there is no potable water, so campers must bring their own supply. This is an older facility with short parking spurs ranging from 30 to 35 feet, making it unsuitable for larger RVs or trailers. A maximum of eight people are allowed per site, and tents must fit on the provided pads. Recreational activities in the area include hiking, stream fishing along the Cache la Poudre River, and four-wheel driving on nearby forest roads. Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a hand-held leash. The campground operates first-come, first-served with no advance reservations available.

Directions
