The campground is designed for smaller rigs, accommodating tents and trailers up to 20 feet in length. The remote location near Platina makes Basin Gulch an excellent starting point for adventures into the surrounding national forest. The campground operates on a first-come, first-served basis and accepts cash or check payments. With vault toilets and no potable water on-site, campers should come prepared with their own drinking water or plan to treat water from nearby sources.
