About

White Oak Lake State Park Campground occupies a scenic wooded setting along Lower White Oak Lake, a 725-acre impoundment created by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1930s. The campground features 45 sites spread across multiple loops: four Class A sites with water and 50-amp electric hookups, 37 Class B sites with water and 30-amp hookups, and four dedicated tent sites. Each site includes a fire ring, picnic table, and lantern hook, with sites accommodating RVs up to 60 feet. Facilities include two private bathhouses with flush toilets and hot showers, a dump station, and potable water throughout. The visitor center houses a small store with fishing supplies, snacks, and camping essentials. A marina offers boat rentals and a launch ramp provides access to the lake, known for its bass, crappie, catfish, and bream fishing. A barrier-free fishing pier accommodates anglers with mobility limitations. Three hiking trails wind through the park's marshlands and tree-lined ridges, ranging from an easy 1/3-mile loop to a moderate 3-mile trek. A mountain bike trail adds variety for cyclists. The park maintains a relaxed atmosphere typical of southwest Arkansas, making it a solid base for fishing trips or quiet lakeside camping.
