About

Highway 125 Park Bull Shoals is situated on the scenic shores of Bull Shoals Lake, a 71,000-acre reservoir spanning the northern edge of Arkansas and southern edge of Missouri. The campground offers 39 campsites with electric hookups, flush and vault toilets, hot showers, and drinking water. A designated swimming area, marina, and boat launch provide easy access to the lake's abundant water sports and fishing opportunities. The park serves as a departure point for the Peel Ferry, Arkansas' last remaining free ferry, which saves travelers a 50-mile journey around the lake. The rolling foothills of the Arkansas Ozarks surround the lake with dense forest, creating a peaceful setting for camping, hiking, and birding. A group picnic shelter accommodating up to 50 people is available near the playground. Bull Shoals Lake was created in 1951 with the completion of Bull Shoals Dam. The campground provides a quiet, well-spaced layout frequented primarily by anglers and water enthusiasts. Nearby attractions include Bull Shoals-White River State Park with hiking trails, and scenic drives accessible via the ferry to Missouri.
