About

Oakland Park is a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers campground on Bull Shoals Lake near Oakland, Arkansas. All 32 sites include electric and water hookups, with most offering 20/30 amp service and some sites providing 50 amp connections for larger RVs. One site is primitive without hookups. The campground accommodates one RV and one tent, or two tents per site. Amenities include hot showers, flush toilets, a dump station, trash service, boat ramp, designated swimming area, and playground. The nearby Oakland Marina offers boat rentals, supplies, and fishing guides. Bull Shoals Lake spans over 71,000 acres and holds several Arkansas state fishing records. The nearby White River is a premier trout fishery. Reservations are available through Recreation.gov. Check-in is at 4 p.m. and check-out at 3 p.m. Campground attendants are on duty from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Off-road vehicles and livestock are prohibited.

Directions

From Mountain Home, AR, take Hwy 5 N for 14.2 miles. Turn left on AR 202 W for 9.6 miles and arrive at park entrance.
