About

North Fork Campground is a rustic Forest Service campground located 10 miles west of Stonyford on Road 18N03 in Mendocino National Forest. The 10 campsites are set in an open grove of oak trees beside a year-round stream, providing a peaceful setting for primitive camping. Each site includes a picnic table and fire ring. This is a pack-it-in, pack-it-out campground with one vault toilet but no potable water. Campers must bring their own drinking water. The area is popular for OHV enthusiasts with nearby trail access, and stream fishing is productive during winter and early spring when water levels are high. The campground operates on a first-come, first-served basis only with on-site payment via QR code through the Recreation.gov app. Sites accommodate trailers up to 30 feet. Check-in is 2:00 PM, check-out is 11:00 AM, and quiet hours begin at 10:00 PM.
