Alcohol Prohibitions

This Order describes acts that are prohibited upon lands, roads and trails within the National Forest System administered by the Forest Service Pacific Northwest Region in regards to alcoholic beverages.

About

Red Bridge Campground is located in the Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest along the scenic South Fork Stillaguamish River. The campground provides easy access to fishing, kayaking, and hiking opportunities in the surrounding wilderness. The Mt. Dickerman Trail, which switchbacks steeply through forest to alpine meadows with wildflowers in July and August, is nearby. The campground features 13 standard nonelectric sites accommodating both tents and RVs up to 40 feet. Each site includes a picnic table and fire ring. Vault toilets are provided, but there is no potable water on site. Old-growth forests line the river, which supports runs of Chinook, Coho, chum, pink, and sockeye salmon, as well as steelhead and bull trout. The area offers access to North Cascades National Park and the historic Verlot Public Service Center, built by the Civilian Conservation Corps and listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Fire restrictions may be imposed during hot, dry weather; campers should obtain firewood locally rather than transporting it.
