About

Long Point Cabin Camp is located on North Core Banks within Cape Lookout National Seashore, just off the coast of mainland North Carolina. For decades, this historic camp has been a favorite destination for anglers and beachgoers seeking a remote coastal experience. The camp can only be reached by boat, adding both privacy and adventure to any trip. The facility consists of 16 primitive metal cabins, with eight accommodating up to 4 guests and eight accommodating up to 8 guests. Each cabin has potable water access and a window air-conditioning unit, but no electricity, refrigerators, or fuel are provided on-site. Guests must bring their own generators, linens, bedding, cookware, and food storage. A shared bathhouse provides restrooms and hot showers. Cape Lookout National Seashore's 56 miles of undeveloped barrier islands offer exceptional fishing, shelling, swimming, birding, and kayaking. The park's sandy beaches and 112 miles of uninhabited shoreline make it one of the premier paddling destinations on the Mid-Atlantic Coast.
