Fishers Landing is a day-use recreation area situated on the Neuse River within the Croatan National Forest, approximately 8 miles south of New Bern, North Carolina. The site provides access for river and stream fishing as well as picnicking. This is a day-use only facility and does not permit overnight camping. The site has historically been a free-access area managed by the Croatan Ranger District. The site suffered damage from Hurricane Florence and has remained closed for repairs. Visitors seeking overnight camping in the Croatan National Forest should consider nearby options such as Flanners Beach Recreation Area.
