The campground features 67 single-family sites, each equipped with a picnic table and campfire ring. The forest setting includes pine, Douglas fir, and aspen trees, with plentiful grasses and summer wildflowers covering the forest floor. Earthquake Lake, formed by the 1959 earthquake and landslide, offers fishing and canoeing accessible via trails from the campground or from the highway less than a mile away. A nearby visitor center features interpretive displays about the earthquake.
