Silver Creek Campground offers visitors a scenic camping experience near the town of Markleeville. Anglers enjoy fishing the nearby East Fork Carson River and the Pacific Crest Trail can be accessed just 3 miles away. The site offers several single-family sites with picnic tables, food storage lockers, campfire rings and grills, as well as vault toilets and trash collection. The campground is situated in a beautiful and shady fir and pine forest at an elevation of 7,100 feet.
This campground straddles Highway 4, creating two separate loops containing several single-family sites with picnic tables, food storage lockers and campfire rings with grills.
