* WHAT...Very cold temperatures as low as 45 below zero expected. * WHERE...Copper River Basin. * WHEN...From 1 AM to 11 AM AKST Sunday. * IMPACTS...Frostbite and hypothermia are likely if exposed to these temperatures. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Temperatures Sunday morning will be around or a bit colder than what was observed Saturday morning. Localized north to northeast winds gusting to 25 mph will develop near Paxson and along the Tok Cutoff this evening leading to wind chills as low as 50 to 55 below zero.

Frostbite and hypothermia are likely if exposed to these temperatures. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Northerly winds (except westerly winds in Whittier) will strengthen this evening into the overnight hours, leading to rapidly falling wind chills. Winds will slowly diminish on Sunday.
