This order describes the prohibition of wheeled vehicles in all National Forest Wilderness Areas of the Rocky Mountain Region and any exceptions thereof.

About

Windy Point Group Campground is located on Dillon Reservoir in the heart of Summit County between Keystone and Breckenridge on Swan Mountain Road. At 9,000 feet elevation in the White River National Forest, the campground offers dramatic views of the Gore Range, Tenmile Range, and the reservoir itself. The facility consists of two distinct group sites. The Forest Loop is a standard group area with fire rings, grills, and gathering tables on a grassy overlook. The Lake Loop features a 2,600 square foot covered pavilion on a concrete pad with multiple serving tables, tall gathering tables, and large grills. Both sites accommodate tents, trailers, and RVs up to 45 feet on hardened gravel surfaces and can host groups of up to 100 people. Dillon Reservoir offers fishing for rainbow, brown, and cutthroat trout, along with motorized and non-motorized boating. Water contact activities including swimming, water skiing, and scuba diving are prohibited. Nearby attractions include over 7 miles of paved Summit County trails and proximity to Arapahoe Basin, Keystone, Breckenridge, and Copper Mountain ski resorts.
