Wildwood Campground is a quiet, rustic retreat in the western portion of White Mountain National Forest, located along NH Route 112 near Kinsman Notch. The campground features 26 first-come, first-served wooded sites, each with a gravel pad, fire ring, and picnic table. Vault toilets are handicap accessible, and potable water is available via cold water faucets. The campground sits along the Wild Ammonoosuc River, which was the site of major log drives in the early 1900s. Moose are commonly spotted along the riverbanks. Directly across from the campground is a picnic area featuring a pavilion built by the Civilian Conservation Corps, offering one of the most scenic views of Mt. Moosilauke in the region. Nearby attractions include Lost River Reservation, Kinsman Notch, Franconia Notch, The Flume, Cannon Mountain Tram, and access to the Kancamagus Highway. The campground operates on a self-service pay system with a maximum of 8 people and 2 vehicles per site.
